The projectile moving inside the handpiece. This component is accelerated by the electromagnetic pulse of the base unit and strikes the back of the applicator head: this is where the pressure wave originates.

The most highly stressed component

The projectile collides with every single shock, making it the fastest-wearing internal component of the device. Its nominal service life is approximately 2.5 million pulses. Replace it if the treatment weakens, the sound becomes muffled, or the surface of the projectile is visibly worn.
