What is fascia?
Fascia is the “connective tissue” of our body that protects and connects muscles, bones, ligaments, and internal organs. Think of it as your body's internal network that holds everything together. But fascia is not just a “support structure”: it is also an amazing transport system because it contains a lot of water, through which hormones, immune cells, and oxygen flow. If this system functions well, your whole body moves more easily, regenerates faster, and you simply feel better in your skin.
What is the function of fascia in the human body?
- holds and separates muscles
- assists movement (so that muscles slide well over each other)
- participates in posture
- can also transmit pain (which is why it's important for e.g. back or neck pain)
What happens if this fascia is damaged/adheres?
If the fascia is damaged, thickens or adheres – whether after a sports injury, like an ankle sprain, or surgery, such as gallbladder removal or a C-section – it can thicken and adhere in a specific location.
This adhesion can also connect to surrounding muscles and tissues, causing internal scarring.
Consequences of this:
- Restricts the natural movement of joints.
- Causes pain and discomfort, which can even lead to further injuries.
- Posture can change: for example, scarring after abdominal surgery can pull the pelvis forward, leading to back pain.
Who do we recommend it for?
It is an ideal tool for masseurs, athletes, physiotherapists, and various therapists who want to provide an effective and pleasant treatment experience for their clients. It is also an excellent choice for home self-treatment: it is easy to use, so anyone can easily incorporate it into their daily regeneration or pain relief routine.
What is its design?
Ergonomic, hand-fitting design. The ergonomic shape allows for both one-handed and two-handed use, making it comfortable to use for treating clients, but it is also ideal for self-treatment and home use.

Material: stainless steel – durable, hygienic, and easy to clean.
What is the difference between Muscle Scraping and traditional gua sha?
Although both techniques are based on stimulating the skin and underlying tissues, the difference lies in precision and the target area.
- Traditional gua sha: uses a flat, smooth tool over wide areas. Good for stimulating general circulation and relaxation.
- Muscle Scraping / fascia knife: various shapes and sizes of tools are available, which can be used to precisely treat problematic muscles. Ideal for releasing adhesions, improving mobility, and supporting regeneration.
Is it skin-friendly / allergen-free?
Yes. Hypoallergenic, its smooth surface does not irritate the skin.
