  • Enhancing absorption: pressing the head against the skin, sliding slowly.
  • Targeted care: 1–2 seconds on one spot, then move on.

Frequency

Use 1–2 times a week for 10–15 minutes, and as your skin gets used to it, you can increase the duration. Use on face, neck, and décolletage, with a serum, moisturizer, or contact gel on clean skin.

Cleaning

Wipe with a dry cloth after every use. Do not soak or immerse in water.

When not to use

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, in case of heart disease, pacemaker or other implanted electronic devices, epilepsy or light sensitivity, on inflamed or damaged skin, in areas of recent cosmetic procedures, and directly around the eyes. Do not look into the light. For sensitive skin, start with shorter durations and test on a small area first.

FAQ

What is this device, and how does it work?

The SkinGlow handheld beauty device for the face, neck, and décolletage. It combines four LED colors (red, blue, yellow, purple), EP technology, heating, and vibration across four modes: Glow, Contour, Regenerate, and Massage. This is a wellness and skincare device, not a medical device: it does not provide diagnoses and does not replace dermatological care.

Is it suitable for all skin types?

Yes, it can be used on all skin types. For sensitive skin, start with a shorter time and a lower level, test it on a small area first, and increase it gradually. If your skin reacts unusually (persistent redness, stinging sensation), discontinue use.

How do I use it?

Cleanse your skin, apply serum, moisturizer, or contact gel, then select the mode and intensity level. You can use it with circular motions, by pressing it against the skin and gliding slowly, or by holding it on specific spots for 1–2 seconds. Use 1–2 times a week for 10–15 minutes, and you can increase the frequency as your skin gets used to it. Do not look directly into the light and avoid the area directly around the eyes.

How long until I see results?

Many people notice a change in the radiance of their skin after 2–3 weeks of regular use.

For more visible results, 4–6 weeks of regular use is usually required.

The effect is gradual, and individual reactions vary. Lifestyle, sleep, and skincare routine also play a role.

What happens if I stop using it?

Discontinuation has no acute adverse effects.

However, previously achieved results may fade over time as the skin’s natural processes continue at their own pace.

Therefore, even after the intensive period, it is recommended to continue with a maintenance routine of 1–3 times per week.

Can I combine it with other skincare products?

Yes, in fact it is worth using it together with serums and moisturizers. Apply exfoliating, retinol-containing, or other active ingredient products after using the device or on a separate day to avoid skin irritation. After a recent cosmetic procedure (chemical peel, laser), wait until the skin has fully regenerated.

When is its use NOT recommended?

Do not use and consult your doctor beforehand if any of the following apply to you:

  • pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • epilepsy or light sensitivity, as flashes of light can trigger seizures
  • severe skin disease, eczema flare-up, open wounds, skin infection
  • taking photosensitizing medication (e.g., certain antibiotics, retinoids)
  • after recent cosmetic procedures, until the skin has regenerated
  • pacemaker or other implanted electronic device

If you are unsure, consult a dermatologist.

How should I clean, charge, and store it?

After each use, switch it off and wipe the head and casing with a dry or slightly damp, soft cloth. Do not soak or immerse in water; do not use solvents or harsh cleaning agents. Battery-operated: can be charged in approx. 90 minutes via USB-C cable. Store on its base or in its pouch, in a cool, dry place protected from direct sunlight.

Basic information

Is it suitable for all skin types?

Yes, red, blue, yellow, and infrared light can be safely used on all skin types. For sensitive skin, start with shorter treatment times and gradually increase.

How long does it take to see the first results?

Many people notice an improvement in skin radiance after just 2–3 weeks, but for full, visible results, at least 4–6 weeks of regular use is recommended.

Use and operation

Are there any negative effects if I stop using the device?

When you stop using it, there will be no acute harmful effects — however, the results previously achieved may fade over time. The natural rate of collagen production may slow down, causing the skin to lose its elasticity again, and fine lines may become more visible again. To maintain the results, intermittent use (e.g., 1-3 times a week) is recommended even after the intensive period.

Can I combine it with other skincare treatments (e.g., exfoliation, retinol)?

Yes, but it is advisable to apply exfoliating, retinol-containing or other active ingredient products on a different day after phototherapy to avoid possible skin irritation.

Contraindications and safety instructions

SkinGlow is a safe and gentle skincare device, but there are instances when its use is not recommended:

- During pregnancy and breastfeeding – for safety, consult your doctor.
- In cases of epilepsy or photosensitivity – light flashes can trigger seizures.
- In the presence of severe skin conditions (e.g., eczema flare-ups, open wounds, infections).
- While taking photosensitizing medications (e.g., certain antibiotics, retinoids).
- After recent cosmetic procedures (e.g., chemical peels, laser treatments) – wait until the skin has fully regenerated.
- Individuals with pacemakers or other implanted electrical devices require medical consultation.
- If you are unsure about its use, it is always recommended to consult a dermatologist or your treating physician.

Maintenance

How to clean the device?

Unplug the device completely (turn it off and unplug it from the outlet). Use a dry or slightly damp, soft cloth to wipe the treatment head and the surface of the casing.

Do not expose to direct water. Do not use solvents or strong cleaning agents, as these may damage the electronics or the LED surface.
