FAQ

Basic information

What is this product?

The Movtech STRAIL stretching strap is a specifically designed leg stretching device that helps to stretch the calf, thigh, gluteal, and heel muscles, improving range of motion and reducing muscle tension.

What is it for / what problem does it solve?

This strap is specifically designed to:
- improve the range of motion of the legs, hips, and back
- reduce pain and muscle cramps resulting from tight muscles,
- help prevent injuries,
- speed up recovery after exercise or prolonged sitting.

Who is it recommended for?

This device is ideal for:
- office workers who often have tight posterior muscles,
- athletes and those with an active lifestyle,
- individuals experiencing muscle tension or limited range of motion,
- anyone who wants to be more flexible and mobile.

Can beginners use it too?

Yes, it is completely safe for beginners. The different grip points on the strap help everyone adapt the exercises to their own flexibility level.

Use and operation

How long does it take to see results?

Most people feel pleasant muscle relaxation and improved flexibility after the first few uses, especially if they stretch regularly. Lasting, visible improvements in range of motion typically develop after a few weeks of regular practice.

How many hours / how often should it be used daily?

The STRAIL strap can be flexibly integrated into your daily routine:
✔️ Can be used up to 1-2 times a day – for example, in the morning and after a workout.
✔️ Each stretching session is approximately 10-15 minutes – but you can adjust the time to your individual goals and flexibility level.

What is its principle of operation?

The STRAIL strap provides directed, controlled pulling force that helps to gradually stretch muscles and joints. The multiple grip points allow you to adjust the pull to your own flexibility level, safely increasing your range of motion.

How does it work?

1. Gradual stretching: The strap helps to gently lengthen muscles without causing sudden or excessive strain.

2. Muscle relaxation: During stretching, muscles (e.g., hamstrings, glutes, calves) relax, reducing tension and cramps.
3. Increased mobility: Regular use improves range of motion and coordination, which helps prevent injuries and speeds up recovery.

Can it be used before and after workouts?

Yes. Before a workout, it helps warm up muscles and prevent injuries, and after a workout, it speeds up recovery and reduces muscle soreness.

Contraindications and safety instructions

In what health conditions is it not recommended?

- In case of fresh muscle injury, strain, or sprain
- In case of acute arthritis or ligament injury
- In case of severe osteoporosis or spinal problems (medical recommendation required)
- In case of open wound or skin inflammation in the foot, thigh, hip area

Can it be used during pregnancy / with chronic illness?

- During pregnancy: only with medical permission, as body stretching is not safe in certain situations

- In case of chronic illnesses (e.g., musculoskeletal problems), it is recommended to consult a specialist first

Can it cause pain or discomfort?

- A slight pulling or stretching sensation is normal

- Sharp pain, numbness, or tingling is not normal – stop using it immediately in such cases

What should you pay special attention to during use?

- Follow the principle of gradualness – gradually increase the extent of stretching

- Always stretch with controlled, slow movements, do not jerk your muscles

- Pay attention to your breathing – do not hold it, relaxation helps efficiency

What constitutes improper use?

🔹 Sudden, excessive pulling
🔹 Stretching more than the daily recommended amount (unless required by sport, lifestyle, etc.)
🔹 Use despite pain
🔹 Incorrect body posture, e.g., overloading the back or knee joint

What safety conditions might the product have?

1. Before use, read the instruction manual and make sure you understand the correct stretching technique.

2. Do not jerk or pull the strap suddenly — perform the stretch slowly and controlled, otherwise you may cause muscle injury.

3. Never use the strap by "standing on it" with force or pulling with body weight — this is not a strength training tool.

4. Do not use the strap if there is a fresh injury, swelling, or inflammation in the area.

5. Avoid using the strap if you have a bone fracture, joint instability, or serious joint disease — seek medical advice first.

6. Do not wrap the strap too tightly, as this may hinder blood circulation or cause numbness.

7. Do not use the strap immediately after eating; allow your body time to digest.

8. Children and pets should not use or play with the strap unsupervised.

9. Do not hold the strap with wet, sweaty, or oily hands, as it may slip and cause sudden movement.

10. If the strap slips or loosens during gripping, stop and readjust it to prevent falls or strains.

11. Avoid stretching with fast, sudden movements, as this can lead to muscle strain.

12. Do not overstretch by exceeding the pain threshold — mild tension is fine, "sharp pain" is not.

13. Do not use directly over wounds, abrasions, or irritated skin.

14. If you experience dizziness, nausea, or numbness during use, stop immediately.

15. Do not use the strap on unstable ground or surface, as your foot may slip.

16. Do not use if you have circulatory problems or severe tenosynovitis without consulting a specialist first.

17. Do not combine the strap with any sharp objects or hard surfaces, as this may cause injury.

18. If you use it for a prolonged period, take short breaks in between — too much continuous pulling is not better.

19. Keep the strap clean and dry; moisture can prematurely age the material and reduce grip.

20. This device is intended to aid stretching – it does not replace medical examination or treatment if you have serious musculoskeletal problems.
