Cryoflex - Cold and Hot Therapy Gel Bandage
Specifications

Material: Flexible, breathable, and skin-friendly fabric with built-in premium heat-retaining gel

Design: Slip-on design without buckles or hook-and-loop fasteners, non-slip

Functionality: Microwave-safe for heating and freezer-safe for cooling

Compatibility: Universal (perfectly fits knees, ankles, elbows, forearms, and calves)

How to use it

When to freeze it?

Cold therapy should be used in cases of injury, bruising, swelling, muscle spasms, tears, or acute inflammation (e.g., in ankles, muscles, ligaments). Cold therapy slows down blood circulation and reduces cell activity, thereby helping to alleviate swelling and pain.

Place the strap in the freezer for at least half an hour, but preferably 1-2 hours before use, to ensure it cools down properly. Always store the Cyroflex™ in a sealed, reusable bag while it is in the freezer.

When to heat it?
Warm therapy should be used for long-standing problems such as chronic inflammation, muscle spasms, or radiating pain.

Heat it in a microwave for 30 seconds, then hold the Cyroflex™ firmly against your skin. The Cyroflex™ should be warm to the touch, not hot. Reheat in 10-second increments until the desired temperature is reached.

How it works

Heat expands blood vessels, increases circulation and metabolism, thereby promoting muscle regeneration and increased range of motion.

Clinical studies show that cryotherapy reduces the severity of delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and pain perception after exercise.

Cold constricts blood vessels and slows down the inflammatory process, which can help reduce swelling and pain in the case of fresh injuries.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Cold Therapy Phase

  • When the cooled gel bandage is applied, blood vessels constrict, reducing local blood flow and alleviating inflammation and the development of swelling.
  • Additionally, cold reduces nerve conduction speed, thus decreasing pain sensation – making it effective in the early stages of acute injury or muscle tension.

Warm Therapy Phase

  • The warmed gel bandage causes blood vessels to dilate, which enhances blood circulation, delivering more oxygen and nutrients to the affected tissues. This promotes regeneration and the removal of waste products.
  • Heat reduces muscle and connective tissue stiffness, increases flexibility, and decreases pain sensation – especially in chronic or recurring muscle/joint conditions.

FAQ

What is this product, and how does it work?

The Cryoflex cold and hot compress is a pull-on gel bandage with a non-slip design, featuring no buckles or Velcro.

A single device you can use both hot and cold: simply chill or heat the inner gel pack, then apply the bandage to the desired area. The gel is a highly thermally conductive material, ensuring even temperature distribution.

This is a wellness device, not a medical device, and it is not a substitute for medical care.

Who is it recommended for, and which body areas can it be used on?

For athletes' pre- and post-workout routines, individuals with an active lifestyle, those with sedentary or standing jobs, and anyone looking to use cold or hot compresses at home.

Can be applied to the following areas: knee, ankle, elbow, forearm, and calf.

Thanks to the flexible design, it stays in place even while moving, so it does not need to be held.

How do I use it cold?

Place the bandage in the refrigerator or freezer for 2–3 hours until it reaches a pleasantly cool temperature for you.

Never apply an ice-cold bandage straight from the freezer directly to your skin: wait a few minutes or place a thin cloth underneath.

5–10 minutes is enough for one session, then remove it and let your skin warm back up.

How do I use it warm?

Heat in a microwave for a maximum of 20 seconds.

It should be warm, not hot. If it is too hot, let it cool for a few minutes before applying. Always test the temperature on the inside of your wrist before applying.

Do not heat on a stove, in an oven, in hot water, or on a radiator: it can only be heated in a microwave.

How long does it maintain the temperature, and how long should I leave it on?

The internal gel pads maintain the set cold or hot temperature for approximately 20 minutes.

One session is 5–10 minutes, up to a maximum of 20 minutes. Do not leave it in one place for longer than this, whether hot or cold.

Allow at least one hour between sessions for your skin temperature to return to normal.

How often should I use it?

1-3 times a day is fine, provided each session is short and your skin reacts normally.

  • a short, cold application after a workout
  • warm is better for morning stiffness
  • either one for daytime relaxation, whichever feels better

Watch your skin: if it stays red for a long time, or you experience a stinging or tingling sensation, skip the next session.

When is its use NOT recommended?

Do not use and consult your doctor beforehand if any of the following apply:

  • open wound, fresh surgical scar, burn or inflamed skin in the area to be treated
  • skin condition, such as eczema or rash in the area to be treated
  • reduced sensation, diabetes, peripheral neuropathy
  • circulatory disease, varicose veins, thrombosis
  • cold allergy or cold sensitivity (when using cold application)
  • blood clotting disorder or use of anticoagulants
  • pregnancy

Do not use on a sleeping or incapacitated person, and only use on children under adult supervision.

What counts as misuse?
  • bandage taken from the freezer directly onto bare skin
  • overheating the bandage, or heating it outside of a microwave oven
  • continuous use for longer than 20 minutes
  • use while sleeping
  • use of a damaged, leaking bandage
  • use on an insensitive or numb area of the body

If the bandage is punctured or the gel begins to leak, discontinue use.

Is it skin-friendly? Does it contain harmful substances?

The outer material is a flexible, breathable, and skin-friendly fabric, and the gel is contained in sealed pads, so it does not come into direct contact with the skin.

If you have sensitive skin, use it for a shorter period the first time and monitor the reaction. It can also be applied over a thin layer of fabric.

If you experience any skin reaction, discontinue use.

How should I clean and store it?

After use, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry. Do not machine wash, spin-dry, or iron.

Store in a clean, dry place away from sharp objects to prevent damage to the gel pad. You can also keep it in the refrigerator so it is always ready to use cold.

The product comes with a 1-year warranty.

If you experience any issues during use, discontinue treatment, and if symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

Use and operation

How long does it take to see results?

With the Movtech™ Cryoflex hot and cold therapy gel bandage, you can feel pain relief and improved movement after a very short period of use, even after about 10 minutes — especially in cases of post-workout tension or joint pain. This product is designed to quickly deliver targeted hot or cold therapy to the affected area, so even a short therapeutic cycle can reduce discomfort and improve your well-being.

How many minutes per day / how often should it be used?

For Movtech™ Cryoflex, even about 10 minutes of hot or cold therapy per day can be enough to significantly reduce pain and initiate regeneration.

For best results, regular use is recommended:

  • after exercise or physical exertion,
  • when pain, stiffness, or overexertion occurs,
  • up to 1–2 times a day, adjusted to current needs.

How does it work?

Movtech™ Cryoflex is based on the proven principle of hot and cold therapy, which naturally aids in pain relief and regeneration:

Cold Therapy:

Blood vessels constrict, reducing blood flow, inflammation, and swelling, and alleviating pain – ideal for acute injuries or overuse.

Hot Therapy:

Blood vessels dilate, increasing blood circulation, delivering more oxygen and nutrients to muscles and joints, which accelerates regeneration and reduces muscle stiffness.

Which body parts can the bandage be used on?

Movtech™ Cryoflex is a universal gel bandage that, thanks to its flexible design, can be used comfortably and effectively on multiple body parts. You can treat several problem areas with a single device:

  • knee
  • ankle
  • elbow
  • forearm
  • wrist

How to use for cold therapy?

Place the bandage in the refrigerator or freezer for 2–3 hours until it reaches a pleasantly cool temperature for you.

How to use for hot therapy?

Heat in a microwave for a maximum of 20 seconds to achieve a pleasant, soothing temperature.

Contraindications and safety instructions

Contraindications – when is it not recommended for use?

Movtech™ Cryoflex is safe for its intended use, however, its application is not recommended in the following cases, or only after consulting a doctor:

  • In case of open wounds, damaged or inflamed skin

Cold or hot therapy can further irritate the skin, slow down wound healing, and increase the risk of infection.
  • In severe circulatory disorders (e.g., arteriosclerosis)

Since cold and hot therapy directly affects blood circulation, it can exacerbate unpleasant symptoms in case of circulatory problems and worsen oxygen supply to tissues.
  • In case of reduced thermal sensation (e.g., nerve damage)

If the thermal sensation in the affected area is inadequate (e.g., in neuropathy associated with diabetes), there is a risk that you may not perceive too strong a cold or hot effect in time, which can cause skin irritation or injury.
  • During acute skin diseases, infections in the affected area

In such cases, therapy can worsen the condition, increase inflammation, or hinder the healing process.

Can it be used during pregnancy / with chronic diseases?

  • During pregnancy, use is only recommended after consulting a doctor, especially around the abdomen, waist, or pelvis.
  • In case of chronic diseases (e.g., diabetes, circulatory problems, autoimmune diseases), it is also advisable to consult a doctor before regular use.

Can it cause pain or discomfort?

When used as intended, Movtech™ Cryoflex does not cause pain; in fact, it is specifically designed to alleviate unpleasant symptoms. However, in some cases, temporary discomfort may occur, especially if the use is improper:

  • too intense cold or hot sensation,
  • slight redness, feeling of warmth or temporary numbness,

these most often occur if the bandage is applied for too long or at an unsuitable temperature.

What should I do if I experience a problem during use?

If you experience any unpleasant, stinging, or burning sensation, discontinue use immediately and rest the skin. Symptoms typically subside within a short period if you adhere to the recommended usage time and method. If the symptom persists, consult a healthcare professional.

What should be paid particular attention to during use?

Do not use for too long continuously

 Do not apply during sleep

 Do not fasten too tightly

Do not use on damaged skin

Always take a break between treatments

What constitutes improper use?

Movtech™ Cryoflex is safe and effective when used as directed. However, the following cases constitute improper use and may cause discomfort or skin irritation:

  • Continuous use for hours

Too long cold or hot therapy can overload the skin and tissues, increasing the risk of irritation or injury.
  • Application during sleep

During sleep, you cannot perceive too strong a cold or hot effect in time, so skin irritation or an unpleasant reaction can easily develop.
  • Too tight fastening that constricts blood circulation

The bandage should fit securely but comfortably. Too much compression can cause numbness, discoloration, or circulatory problems.
  • Placing directly on insensitive skin when hot

In case of reduced thermal sensation, there is a risk that the skin will not signal too high a temperature in time, which can lead to injury.

What are the possible safety conditions of the product?

  1. Avoid using the bandage on open wounds, blisters, or fresh injuries.
  2. Check for allergic reactions or skin conditions in the treated area.
  3. Do not wear the bandage for extended periods continuously – adhere to the recommended treatment time.
  4. Do not layer bandages on top of each other – the effect will not be enhanced, but the skin may be damaged.
  5. Only heat in the microwave for the recommended time, otherwise it may overheat.
  6. Always store in a bag in the freezer to prevent the gel from hardening excessively.
  7. Do not bend or press the bandage too forcefully, as it may distribute heat unevenly.
  8. Avoid rapid temperature changes (e.g., cold tap water), as the material may be damaged.
  9. Always remain in a stable, sitting position during use – do not attempt to walk or move with it.
  10. Children should not have unsupervised access.
  11. Always place it directly on the skin; through clothing, the desired effect will not be achieved.
  12. Do not combine with electrical devices or other heat sources for which it is not designed.
  13. During sports, only use the bandage on medical advice.
  14. Do not leave in direct sunlight, as the material may overheat and be damaged.
  15. For cold application, do not remove directly from the freezer – bring to temperature slowly before applying.
  16. Do not pull too tightly – excessive compression can impede circulation.
  17. Do not attempt to cut, alter, or disassemble the bandage.
  18. Clean only with a damp cloth; machine washing and soaking are prohibited.
  19. Keep away from sharp objects – the gel can be easily damaged.
  20. Immediately remove the bandage if unpleasant, severe pain or irritation occurs.
Maintenance

How to clean and maintain the bandage?

For the Movtech™ Cryoflex to have a long lifespan and effectiveness, proper cleaning and storage are important:

  • Do not wash or soak it in water!
The gel pads are not waterproof for full submersion, so traditional washing can damage the material, reduce its effectiveness, and even cause leakage.

  • Cleaning with a damp cloth:

Wipe the surface with a lightly damp, clean cloth or sponge. You can use soapy water or a gentle detergent, but make sure not to soak it and that liquid does not get into the gel.

This method removes sweat, dust, and minor dirt while fully preserving the bandage's function.

  • Drying:

After cleaning, allow the bandage to air dry naturally, away from sunlight or heat, and only place it back in its storage bag when dry.

  • Storage:

After use, store it in a sealed storage bag or a dry, cool place to protect it from dust, moisture, and to extend the life of the gel.
