Warranty FAQ
1. What is the warranty period for your products?
We provide a 1-year warranty on most products. This means that we are responsible for undetectable defects that were already present in the product at the time of purchase, having arisen during manufacturing or when the product was placed on the market.
A product is considered defective if it does not meet the quality requirements specified by the manufacturer or does not possess the characteristics described.
If you encounter any problems with the product you purchased, please contact us via the form, and we will assist you with handling your warranty claim.
As a corporate customer (legal entity or sole proprietor), you are not considered a consumer, therefore the mandatory warranty according to Government Decree 151/2003 (IX. 22.) does not apply to you.
In the case of business-to-business (B2B) sales, the provisions of the Civil Code (Act V of 2013) apply, under which the buyer is entitled to a product warranty. Its duration is 1 year, however, the buyer must prove the existence and origin of the defect – especially during the period following performance.
In the case of corporate purchases, the 14-day right of withdrawal without justification is not applicable, so even with webshop purchases, there is no possibility to return the product merely based on a change of mind.
2. What should I do if I received a faulty product?
Let us know and we will replace it.
Our colleagues always check before dispatch to ensure that the product is in perfect condition. After receiving the package, please ensure the product is functioning correctly. If, for any reason, you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 10 business days of receipt, and within the scope of the warranty, we will, of course, replace it with a brand new device.
Our colleagues carefully inspect the products before dispatch, and a video recording is made to prove the dispatch.
Defects resulting from improper use are not considered manufacturing defects. Replacements or repairs related to such issues may incur costs. You can read more about this in the frequently asked questions section.
3. The product is faulty, how can I claim the warranty?
Contact us by e-mail (info@movtech.hu),
and we will assist you with your warranty claim. When returning a faulty product,
it is important to include a copy of the purchase invoice and the completed "Warranty and Guarantee"
document sent by us in the package. If the
product is indeed faulty and cannot be repaired, we will replace it within 14 working days.
4. Is there a money-back guarantee?
Instead of the statutory 14 days, we offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on the products we sell. However, this cannot be enforced after 30 days. Please take this into consideration. Thank you for your understanding.
5. What are the terms of the money-back guarantee?
Enforcing the Money-Back Guarantee
- To
enforce the money-back guarantee, the buyer must notify their claim by email
within 30 calendar days of purchase.
Procedure for Reporting a Claim
- After
the email notification, we will send you the information necessary for
returning the product.
Conditions for Product Return
- The
product must be returned with all its accessories, complete and in a clean
condition.
Failure to do so will incur extra costs. - The
product must be returned within 7 calendar days of notification. - The
buyer is responsible for the return and its costs.
Refund Procedure
- Within
7 business days of receiving the returned product, we will refund the full
purchase price of the product, for which the buyer's bank account number
is required.
It is advisable to choose a bank transfer. - Cash
refunds are only possible by post, at a cost of HUF 3000. It is advisable
to choose a bank transfer.
Legal Background
- According
to Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.), in case of withdrawal, the cost of
returning the product is borne by the buyer. - Shipping
and other incidental costs are not part of the refund under current
legislation; the refund applies exclusively to the product price. - We
are unable to accept cash-on-delivery packages; such shipments will be
returned by the post office, and the cost of this will also be borne by
the buyer.
Is it possible to return a product when purchased as a
company?
In the case of company purchases, the right of withdrawal
without justification, as per the law, is not applicable. Therefore, there is no
possibility to return the device if the product does not meet requirements in
terms of size or other aspects.
Is the 14 or 30-day money-back guarantee valid when
purchasing as a company?
The 14 or 30-day right of withdrawal is exclusively provided
to consumers (private individuals). When purchasing as a business, the buyer is
not entitled to this right, so the money-back guarantee cannot be enforced.
What is the warranty period for a device in the case of a
company purchase?
In the case of company purchases, the mandatory warranty for
consumers (e.g., 1-2 years warranty) is not applicable.
The device is subject to the warranty for defects under the
Civil Code (Act V of 2013).
This means that:
- the
buyer can assert a claim if the defect already existed at the time of
performance, - the
warranty claim can be asserted within 1 year from the date of performance
in the case of a company purchase.
The burden of proof in company purchases lies with the buyer,
meaning the buyer must prove that the defect did not result from improper use
and was present at the time of delivery.
What happens if the device is faulty in the case of a
company purchase?
In the case of a company purchase, the device is not covered
by a consumer warranty; only the warranty for defects under the Civil Code (Act
V of 2013) can be enforced.
Buyer's obligations upon receipt
The buyer is obliged to examine the product immediately upon
receipt and to ascertain that:
- the
device is undamaged, - complete,
- and
functions properly.
If the product is already faulty upon receipt or if there is
a malfunction indicating a manufacturing defect, the buyer must immediately
notify this in writing.
After receipt and before putting the device into use, the buyer
cannot claim that the product was already faulty at the time of delivery if they
did not report it without delay.
Malfunction after receipt
If the device malfunctions after receipt, the buyer may submit
a claim for defects under the following conditions:
The buyer is responsible for proving that
- the
defect did not result from improper use, - not
from incorrect operation, - not
from mechanical damage, - and
not from external influences,
as well as that - the
defect already existed at the time of performance.
In the case of company purchases, the existence of a defect is
not presumed under the Civil Code, so the burden of proof rests with the buyer,
not the seller.
6. In which case is the money-back guarantee not applicable?
The right of withdrawal does not apply to creams which, by their nature, are not suitable for resale once someone has used them. This does not preclude trying out the products, but we only recommend adding accessories or using the product if you are sure you will keep them.
We are unable to refund the full purchase price in the following cases:
1. Used or opened hygiene products
2. Products that have already been personalised and cannot be restored to their original condition.
3. Products for which the factory condition cannot be restored.
4. Disposable, used products and their components.
5. Products damaged due to improper use

7. How do I return the package?
Returns are only possible by post. We are unable to accept returns by any other means, especially in person, to a parcel locker, or to a pick-up point.
Important! All returned packages must contain the form sent electronically by customer service and filled out by you. We can only identify the product with this form present.
For red light therapy panels - Red light max panels can only be safely transported in their original packaging, along with their associated foam protective elements. If these are not available, the product cannot be transported. In all cases of shipping, the package must be sent as a fragile item.
