SkinGlow User Manual

Before you begin

  • Charge the device. The charging port is on the back of the device; you can charge it using the included USB-C cable.
  • Get to know the buttons. The device has two buttons: the power/mode button and the level adjustment button. The LCD screen shows you which mode and level are running.
  • Prepare your skin. Wash and dry your face. Have a serum, moisturizer, or contact gel on hand: you must apply one of these for the EP modes (Glow, Contour), as they provide the contact between the head and your skin.
  • Try it on a small area first at the lowest level, and observe how your skin reacts.

Step by step

  1. Apply a thin layer of serum, moisturizer, or contact gel to the area where you want to use it (face, neck, décolletage).
  2. Turn on the device using the power/mode button.
  3. Select the mode using the same button. The four modes are:
  • Glow: EP + red LED light
  • Contour: EP + blue LED light
  • Regeneration: heating (43–45 °C) + purple LED light
  • Massage: vibration + yellow LED light
  1. Adjust the level using the level adjustment button. Start at the lowest and only go higher if it feels comfortable.
  2. Place the treatment head fully against your skin and choose a technique:
  • Hydration: massage the area with circular motions.
  • Enhanced absorption: gently press the head against your skin and slide it slowly across the surface.
  • Targeted care: hold the head on one spot for 1–2 seconds, then move on to the next.
  1. Proceed in sections: forehead, sides of the face, chin, then the neck and décolletage. Do not hold the head on one spot for too long, especially in the warm Regeneration mode.
  2. At the end, turn off the device and massage in any remaining serum or cream.

Settings and tips

  • Eye area: avoid the area directly around the eyes, and do not look directly at the LED light.
  • Do not use EP modes dry. If the head drags, apply a little more serum or gel.
  • Warm mode: Regeneration heats to 43–45 °C. For sensitive skin, use it for a shorter time and with continuous movement.
  • Frequency: the manufacturer recommends 1–2 times a week, for 10–15 minutes per session. You can increase this once your skin is used to it.
  • Can be integrated into your evening routine: cleansing, serum, device, then your usual moisturizer.
  • If your skin reacts unusually (persistent redness, stinging sensation), stop for the day and stay at a lower level next time.

Cleaning, charging, and storage

  • Immediately after each use, wipe the treatment head and the housing with a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth so no residue remains.
  • Do not submerge in water, do not soak, and do not store in humid places (such as next to the shower). Do not use solvents or strong cleaning agents.
  • Charging: with a USB-C cable; it charges in about 90 minutes. The built-in Li-ion battery is 650 mAh. Use a CE-marked charger head.
  • Storage: on its base or in the storage pouch, in a dry, ventilated place away from direct sunlight, open flames, and heat sources.
  • Children: keep out of reach of infants and small children.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is this device, and how does it work?

The SkinGlow handheld beauty device for the face, neck, and décolletage. It combines four LED colors (red, blue, yellow, purple), EP technology, heating, and vibration across four modes: Glow, Contour, Regenerate, and Massage. This is a wellness and skincare device, not a medical device: it does not provide diagnoses and does not replace dermatological care.

Is it suitable for all skin types?

Yes, it can be used on all skin types. For sensitive skin, start with a shorter time and a lower level, test it on a small area first, and increase it gradually. If your skin reacts unusually (persistent redness, stinging sensation), discontinue use.

How do I use it?

Cleanse your skin, apply serum, moisturizer, or contact gel, then select the mode and intensity level. You can use it with circular motions, by pressing it against the skin and gliding slowly, or by holding it on specific spots for 1–2 seconds. Use 1–2 times a week for 10–15 minutes, and you can increase the frequency as your skin gets used to it. Do not look directly into the light and avoid the area directly around the eyes.

How long until I see results?

Many people notice a change in the radiance of their skin after 2–3 weeks of regular use.

For more visible results, 4–6 weeks of regular use is usually required.

The effect is gradual, and individual reactions vary. Lifestyle, sleep, and skincare routine also play a role.

What happens if I stop using it?

Discontinuation has no acute adverse effects.

However, previously achieved results may fade over time as the skin’s natural processes continue at their own pace.

Therefore, even after the intensive period, it is recommended to continue with a maintenance routine of 1–3 times per week.

Can I combine it with other skincare products?

Yes, in fact it is worth using it together with serums and moisturizers. Apply exfoliating, retinol-containing, or other active ingredient products after using the device or on a separate day to avoid skin irritation. After a recent cosmetic procedure (chemical peel, laser), wait until the skin has fully regenerated.

When is its use NOT recommended?

Do not use and consult your doctor beforehand if any of the following apply to you:

  • pregnancy or breastfeeding
  • epilepsy or light sensitivity, as flashes of light can trigger seizures
  • severe skin disease, eczema flare-up, open wounds, skin infection
  • taking photosensitizing medication (e.g., certain antibiotics, retinoids)
  • after recent cosmetic procedures, until the skin has regenerated
  • pacemaker or other implanted electronic device

If you are unsure, consult a dermatologist.

How should I clean, charge, and store it?

After each use, switch it off and wipe the head and casing with a dry or slightly damp, soft cloth. Do not soak or immerse in water; do not use solvents or harsh cleaning agents. Battery-operated: can be charged in approx. 90 minutes via USB-C cable. Store on its base or in its pouch, in a cool, dry place protected from direct sunlight.
