Multi Scrapper fascia blade user manual

Before you begin

  • Upon unpacking, check that the knife is intact and there is no damage to the metal edge.
  • Charge it fully before the first use.
  • The knife has three working edges, each for a different purpose (see below). Take a look at them before you start.
  • Clean your skin beforehand and apply a thin layer of massage oil or cream. Only enough for the knife to glide comfortably. It does not work through clothing.
  • Wipe any oil or dust remaining from previous use off the knife.

Step by step

  1. Switching on. Hold down the button for about 1.5 seconds. The knife starts at 40 °C and heats up in about 20–30 seconds.
  2. Temperature. By pressing the button briefly, you can step to 45 °C and then to 50 °C. The display shows the level with 1–3 vertical bars, next to which the battery charge level is visible.
  3. Heat test. Before placing it on the treated area, gently touch the metal part to your skin to see if the heat is pleasant.
  4. Holding. When starting, hold the knife at about a 45-degree angle to the skin, not perpendicularly.
  5. Movement. Pull slowly in a straight line from one point to another, always in the same direction. Work on one area in one direction for about 15–30 seconds, then move on.
  6. Continuous movement. Never leave the hot edge in one place on the skin, as it may burn. Do not press hard, and do not press on bony areas.
  7. Switching off. Hold down the button for about 1.5 seconds. Wait a few seconds for the metal edge to cool down before putting it away.

Settings and tips

Edge Purpose Tip
Concave, heated long edge large areas, larger muscle groups by tilting it, you can reach almost all major muscle groups
Convex, thumb-shaped tip smaller muscles where you would massage with your thumb, for example around the ankle smoother than the other tip
Sharp metal tip precise work on small, stiff areas, for example between the toes held at a 90-degree angle
  • The edges do not cut: they are rounded; they pull the skin but do not break it.
  • For home use, always start at the lowest, 40 °C level.
  • At the 50 °C level, pay special attention to keeping the knife in constant motion.
  • You can also use it without heating: in this case, do not turn it on.
  • The sensor built into the handle provides a subtle vibration. This is an auxiliary function; the main work is done by the scraping motion.
  • If the skin becomes too red or sensitive, stop and do not treat that area again for at least 72 hours.
  • If you hand it over to someone else during use, turn it off first so the hot edge does not cause discomfort.

Cleaning, charging and storage

Charging

  • Use the included USB-C cable and a 5 V / 2 A adapter to charge. The port must be dry and clean.
  • A full charge takes about 4 hours, and it lasts for about 2 hours on a single charge. Do not charge for more than 8 hours and unplug it after charging.
  • The knife cannot be used while charging. If the charge is low, the knife will beep until it turns itself off.
  • Do not let it fully discharge; instead, charge it regularly.

Cleaning

  • Wipe oil and cream off the switched-off, cooled-down knife with a damp or disinfectant wipe, then wipe dry.
  • Do not submerge in water or pour liquid on it.

Storage

  • Store in a dry place, away from sunlight, heat, and water, and out of the reach of children.
  • Do not expose to temperatures above 40 °C or below −5 °C, and do not use at humidity levels above 80%.
  • Do not drop or hit it. Do not use near strong electromagnetic fields.

When not to use

Do not use if:

  • the area has an open wound, unhealed stitches, unhealed fracture, infection, or bruising,
  • you have thrombosis or a tumor in the area,
  • you have a pacemaker or an implanted defibrillator,
  • you are taking anticoagulants, or have a blood clotting disorder or hemophilia,
  • the treatment is uncomfortable or your skin is hypersensitive.

Ask your doctor first if:

  • you are pregnant or have had surgery within 6 weeks,
  • there are varicose veins, burn scars, or acute inflammation in the area,
  • you have allergies, an infectious disease, kidney disease, or a fever above 38 °C,
  • you are being treated for arthritis.

Never use it near the heart, on bone, or by pressing over internal organs. Avoid wounds and scars. If you feel unwell during or after use, stop immediately.

Troubleshooting

Frequently Asked Questions

What is fascia, and what does a fascia knife do?

Fascia is a connective tissue membrane that networks through the body: it surrounds muscles, joints, and organs, connecting them to one another. Due to repetitive strain, sedentary work, or a lack of movement, it can become tighter and less slippery, which you perceive as stiffness or a pulling sensation.

The fascia blade works on the skin and the underlying tissue with scraping and pulling motions. Multi Scrapper: an electric, heatable fascia blade that supplements the scraping technique with heat.

This is a wellness device, not a medical treatment, and it does not replace professional medical care.

Who is it recommended for, and which body areas can it be used on?

For athletes, people with an active lifestyle, those who perform sedentary or standing work, and anyone looking to mobilize tight, stiff muscles.

Typical areas:

  • calves, front and back of thighs, hips
  • back, shoulders, back of the neck
  • forearms, upper arms
  • soles of the feet

Avoid the face, the front of the throat, the front of the neck, bony surfaces, and the genital area.

How do I use it, step by step?

1. Apply oil or cream to the area being treated so the device glides without pulling. 2. Locate the tight, sensitive spot. 3. Gently but firmly pull the device in 10–20 cm strokes, always in the same direction. 4. Generally, 20 seconds is enough for one area; you can spend a little more on more sensitive spots. 5. Start heating at the lowest setting, 40 °C, and only increase if it feels comfortable.

Hold the device at an angle of approximately 30-45 degrees to the skin, not perpendicular.

How often should I use it, and when is the best time?

2–4 times a week fits into most routines.

  • before a workout, as part of a warm-up, for a shorter duration
  • after a workout or on a rest day, for relaxation
  • if you have a sedentary job, at the end of the day, for the shoulder and neck area

Do not treat the same area every day: give it 1-2 days of rest, especially if marks have been left behind.

Is it okay through clothing? Do I need oil or cream for it?

It does not work through clothing: the device will not glide properly, and the essence of the technique is lost.

Always apply a massage oil or cream, such as ReBorn cream, to clean, dry skin first. Without oil, the device will pull the skin, which is unpleasant and can cause irritation.

Is it normal for my skin to turn red? Is it painful?

Reddening of the treated area is common: the capillaries near the surface of the skin dilate, which is why the skin becomes red and sometimes patchy. This usually begins to fade within a few hours.

The treatment is not painful, it feels more like a scratching or stretching sensation. Mild sensitivity may occur, but sharp pain should not: that indicates you are pressing too hard.

If redness or sensitivity persists for days, stop using it on that area.

What counts as misuse?
  • too strong, rough scraping
  • use on dry skin without oil or cream
  • attempting to use through clothing
  • applying force to injured, inflamed, or swollen areas
  • continuing despite pain or sharp discomfort
  • direct scraping of bony surfaces (shin bone edge, spine, shoulder blade edge)

If you are unsure, work with less pressure and for a shorter duration.

When is its use NOT recommended?

Do not use and consult your doctor beforehand if any of the following apply:

  • acute inflammation or infection in the area to be treated
  • open wound, recent surgical scar, burn injury
  • skin condition, such as eczema or rash in the area to be treated
  • blood clotting disorder or taking anticoagulants
  • varicose veins, thrombosis, or other serious circulatory disorders
  • reduced sensitivity in the area to be treated

During pregnancy, avoid treatment of the abdomen, lower back, and thighs as a precaution.

What do you know about Multi Scrapper?
  • heating: 40 °C, 45 °C or 50 °C
  • battery: 2 hours of operating time, 4 hours of charging
  • size: approx. 22 × 14 × 3 cm
  • weight: 350 g
  • warranty: 1 year

Fascia knives are not sharp: they have a rounded edge that pulls, not cuts, the skin.

How should I clean and store it?

After use, wipe off any oil or cream with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe dry. Do not immerse the device in water, and always switch it off before cleaning.

Store in a dry place, in the case provided with the set or separately, so that the edges do not knock against each other. Charge the battery partially before long-term storage.

If you experience any issues during use, stop the treatment. If the symptoms do not disappear within a few days, consult a doctor.
